Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Nuclear Outage I&C (Instrumentation & Control) Coordinator, where you will lead critical activities during nuclear plant outages, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance, testing, and modification of nuclear power systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in systems engineering, control systems, and nuclear safety standards to support the reliable operation of nuclear facilities. As a key player in outage planning and execution, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee technical activities, and uphold rigorous quality assurance protocols to maintain compliance with NRC regulations and industry standards. Riley Power group, LLC is a full-service maintenance and capital construction services company headquartered in Rock Hill, SC We work nationwide on some of the most challenging, exciting construction and maintenance projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring a skilled I&C Coordinator for upcoming outage related work . Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Provide direct supervision over supervisors on project or team.
  • Perform Work in accordance with the Site Plan of the Day (POD)
  • Resolve production issues, schedule adherence, and delays.
  • Ensure Site Operations Department approval to start each Work Order after clearance is issued.
  • Coordinate with support groups for scaffolding, insulation, clearances, etc.
  • Identify areas where additional technical direction or resources are required.
  • Verify clearances are adequate to schedule activities prior to job starts.
  • Interface with site management and scheduling teams to ensure problems are properly identified and addressed.
  • Ensure that all Work Order documentation is completed in a timely manner after work completion as specified by Purchaser.

  • 5 or more years of related experience (Management)
  • RO or SRO L/Cert (including 5 plus years of I&C experience)
  • 5 or more years of experience in I&C (Certified/Qualified)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, proficient with personal computer (ie P6 or equivalent), able to operate various instrumentation and controls, excellent in problem solving.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: Practical skills, other medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s). Physical Requirements Lifting objects weighing 50 pounds to waist height and transporting a distance of 10 feet. Pay:
$80.00 - $87.00 per hour
