This position is responsible for the overall success of assigned projects, including financial performance, scheduling, subcontractor management, change orders, documentation, client communication, quality, and project execution. Here is what it takes to win in the Project Manager position: Take ownership of commercial projects from preconstruction and turnover through completion and closeout. Manage project budgets, costs, commitments, forecasts, job costing, and overall project profitability. Develop and maintain project schedules and proactively address potential delays. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, materials, and long-lead items. Work closely with Project Coordinators and Superintendents to align field and office operations. Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain consistent, professional communication. Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, drawings, and other project documentation. Lead and participate in owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings. Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with plans, specifications, contracts, and company standards. Identify financial, contractual, scheduling, safety, and operational risks before they negatively impact the project. Assist with owner billing, subcontractor payment applications, collections, cost tracking, and cash-flow forecasting. Manage project closeout, including punch lists, inspections, warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation. Hold project teams, subcontractors, and vendors accountable while maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approaLead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
