(Based on Experience) About Us Advanced Directional Drilling Solutions (ADDS) is a growing Florida-based underground utility contractor specializing in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), telecommunications, electrical utility, and underground conduit installation. Our projects support utility providers, electrical contractors, municipalities, commercial developments, military installations, and critical infrastructure throughout Florida. We're looking for an experienced construction leader to help manage our field operations and continue building a strong team. Position Summary The HDD Manager will oversee daily field operations, coordinate crews and equipment, mentor field personnel, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting crews, and building successful projects. Responsibilities Manage daily underground utility construction operations. Schedule crews, equipment, and materials. Support and mentor drill operators, locators, foremen, and laborers. Oversee HDD and underground utility construction projects from startup through completion. Coordinate job readiness including locates, materials, permits, and customer scheduling. Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and production. Manage tooling, equipment inventory, and maintenance schedules. Work with estimating and project management to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate with customers regarding project status and field conditions. Help improve company processes and operational efficiency. Qualifications 5+ years of underground utility construction experience. Previous supervisory or construction management experience. HDD experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of underground utility construction. Ability to read construction drawings and utility plans. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver's license required. OSHA 30 and CDL are a plus.
