The Project Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are executed efficiently from preconstruction through closeout. This position is responsible for project documentation, scheduling support, RFI and submittal management, meeting coordination, cost tracking, and communication between field and office teams. Essential Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects. Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, permits, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents. Track and manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project correspondence to ensure timely responses and approvals. Coordinate project schedules, material deliveries, equipment rentals, and subcontractor activities. Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and distribute information to stakeholders. Assist with procurement, vendor communications, purchase orders, and material tracking. Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management. Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, change order preparation, and invoice management. Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, utility agencies, and subcontractors to facilitate project success. Help ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract requirements, and quality standards. Support project closeout activities, including collection of as-builts, warranties, and final documentation. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, civil construction, project administration, or related experience preferred. Knowledge of civil construction processes, earthwork, utilities, roadway construction, and site development is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Procore, HCSS, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Preferred Skills Understanding of plans, specifications, and civil construction documentation. Experience tracking quantities, production reports, and project costs. Ability to work effectively with field personnel, subcontractors, engineers, and clients. Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and time management skills.
