Territory:
Florida, with ability to travel between project locations
Responsibilities:
Manage initial site setup, including fencing, barricades, trailers, equipment rental, and mobilization of subcontractors and labor crews. Coordinate and manage all field operations, subcontractor activities, and vendor logistics throughout the mobilization, construction, and closeout phases. Develop and implement construction plans and schedules, ensuring milestones, staffing, safety, and quality standards are met at every phase. Liaise with local building inspectors and code enforcement officials to schedule and manage inspections and address compliance issues. Inspect ongoing work to ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards; proactively resolve on-site issues. Monitor construction timelines, manage job costs, and support Project Managers with the documentation of back-charges when necessary. Assist in processing subcontractor and client change order requests, including collecting and submitting pricing for Project Manager review. Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and organization at all times. Submit detailed daily reports via Procore, including progress updates, photos, materials used, punch lists, and any schedule changes. Perform basic construction and site maintenance tasks as needed. Support other duties as assigned to ensure project success.
Required Qualification:
Required project experience: At least 3 years specifically building or renovating retail stores and restaurants Strong preference for candidates with ground-up, tenant improvement, remodel, and occupied-space renovation experience Able to pass a background check, Florida's level 2 Experience using Procore field management software Able to read plans and specifications and identify field conflicts before they become delays Strong experience keeping fast-track commercial projects on schedule Willingness to work nights/weekends when restaurant or retail shutdowns require it Florida construction experience would be highly desirable Experience with multi-location restaurant or retail brands would be a major advantage
