Abbey Placements is looking for an Excavation Superintendent for an excavating and concrete construction company in the Bondville, Illinois area (near Champaign). Description of Excavation Superintendent Supervise daily excavation and sitework operations from project start through completion Lead and support excavation foremen and crew members Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials across multiple projects and crews Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements, including safe trenching and excavation practices Monitor production against schedules and budgets while maintaining quality standards Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and customers Full time, direct hire position 1st shift position Requirements of Excavation Superintendent Proven experience in excavation, sitework, or heavy civil construction required Previous supervisory or foreman experience required Familiarity with foundations, grading, and sewer installations required Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years (no major infractions) Must pass a drug screen, motor vehicle report and a criminal background check Reliable work history with good references required Compensation of Excavation Superintendent $75K
