Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Field Construction Manager position include: Hands-on pavement construction knowledge. Conduct site surveys to identify problem areas for scope creation. Check the type and condition of drainage and perform material and soil testing as needed. Upload completed surveys, reports, and photos into the PaveIT system and submit them to the Project Manager. Travel to job sites 80%+ of the time and monitor work from start to finish to ensure each phase is completed properly and reduce punch list items. Serve as on-site quality control manager by documenting adherence to specifications and requirements. Ensure safety procedures are followed per KAI safety policy. Communicate daily with the assigned project manager and conduct pre-construction meetings and morning schedule reviews with the customer's representative.

Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
