Job Overview The Olde Mill is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Selling Manager to lead our new Covington showroom. This is a hands on position for someone who wants to do more than manage a showroom. The right person will be responsible for selling, developing relationships, growing the business, and helping to build our new location from the ground up. Responsibilities Sell flooring, tile, and related products Manage day to day showroom operations Develop relationships with builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners Generate new business and follow up on leads Prepare estimates, quotes, and orders Assist customers with product selections and design decisions Manage and develop the showroom sales team Work closely with vendors and installers Help coordinate projects from sale through completion Monitor sales, margins, and overall store performance Help create and maintain a professional and welcoming showroom Represent The Olde Mill within the local building and design community The Ideal Candidate Flooring industry experience preferred Proven sales experience with a strong track record Leadership or management experience Strong knowledge of flooring, tile, installation, and construction Comfortable working with builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners Highly motivated and goal oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Someone who enjoys building relationships and growing a business Compensation Salary plus commission structure on personal and store performance This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a major role in building a new showroom and growing The Olde Mill's presence on the Northshore.
