We are seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to oversee residential new home builds across multiple assigned communities in the [Location/Region] area. In this role, you will lead field superintendents, ensure high build quality, maintain build cycle times, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while delivering an outstanding homeowner experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee multi-community new home construction operations from site prep to closing. Lead, mentor, and hold field superintendents and trade partners accountable for quality, schedule adherence, and safety standards (OSHA). Review community construction budgets, approve variances/EPOs, and control job-site costs. Walk job sites regularly to conduct quality audits, resolve complex construction/field issues, and ensure compliance with municipal building codes. Collaborate closely with sales, land development, and customer care teams to maintain closing dates and ensure high customer satisfaction (CSAT) scores.

Qualifications Experience:

5+ years in residential new home construction, including 2+ years managing multiple job sites or supervising project managers/superintendents. Production homebuilder experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of residential building codes, structural systems, scheduling software, and trade management.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage field staff, negotiate with subcontractors, and de-escalate customer concerns. Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (reliable truck/vehicle required).

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
