As an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent, your expertise in managing high-end custom home projects is a testament to your problem-solving abilities, multitasking skills, and effective communication. You excel in identifying and resolving issues quickly, ensuring that each project runs smoothly and meets the highest standards of quality. Your passion for creating exceptional custom homes is reflected in your commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of the construction process. What does your day/week/month look like?
Project Management:
  • Oversee the entire scope of construction projects, including managing material inventory, coordinating deliveries, scheduling trade partners, and ensuring timely job completion.
Quality Control:
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process, ensuring that all work meets company expectations and client satisfaction.
Code Compliance:
  • Ensure all projects comply with county building codes and regulations, coordinating and passing required inspections to maintain legal and safety standards.
Budget Management:
  • Monitor project budgets closely, managing costs to stay within financial constraints while maximizing efficiency and resource allocation.
Operational Standards:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction operations by providing insights into strategic planning and reviews.
Implement practices that enhance production, productivity, quality, and customer service.
Problem Resolution:
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
System Improvements:
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing construction management systems, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall project outcomes.
What do you need for this opportunity?
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of residential construction supervision experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked on high-end custom home projects.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong ability to identify issues, effectively multi-task, and communicate clearly with clients, trade partners, and team members.
  • Comprehensive experience supervising construction projects from start to finish.
Knowledge Base:
  • In-depth understanding of various construction disciplines, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, foundations, carpentry, and masonry work.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure project accuracy and adherence to design.
Safety Awareness:
  • Thorough knowledge of proper safety procedures and the ability to recognize potential hazards on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
