Construction Asset Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Join a mission-driven real estate organization and collaborate with a strong, supportive team focused on preserving and enhancing affordable housing communities. Work Arrangement Hybrid schedule 2-3 days per week in the office Key Responsibilities Manage the financial and operational performance of an affordable housing portfolio Oversee capital improvement and rehabilitation projects from planning through completion Monitor reserves, budgets, cash flow, and asset performance Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs, financing requirements, and LIHTC regulations Partner with property management teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders Conduct portfolio analysis, property inspections, and long-term asset planning Present recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field 5+ years of experience in asset management, affordable housing, construction management, property operations, or related real estate functions Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and capital project management experience Knowledge of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC and HUD-related programs Advanced Excel skills Preferred Systems Experience MRI Investment Central Yardi RealPage Boston Post Sage Intacct Ideal Candidate A hands-on asset management professional who combines strong financial acumen with construction and capital project experience, and is passionate about supporting affordable housing initiatives while working as part of a collaborative team.
