Job Description As a Lead Superintendent

  • White Plains, you will be responsible for: Leading all field operations on ground-up residential construction projects Managing and mentoring Assistant Superintendents and field personnel Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site teams Driving project schedules and ensuring milestone completion Overseeing wood-frame construction from foundations through final finishes Coordinating site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries Managing quality control and ensuring compliance with project specifications Leading jobsite safety initiatives and enforcing OSHA standards Ensuring compliance with all DOB requirements and inspections Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams Reviewing construction documents, schedules, and subcontractor work plans Managing inspections, testing, and agency approvals Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation Leading punch-list completion and successful project turnover MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.

The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have: Active DOB Superintendent License 8+ years of Superintendent experience in construction Extensive experience managing ground-up residential construction projects Strong wood framing experience, including podium and wrap-style construction Experience managing multifamily or large-scale residential developments Proven ability to lead multiple subcontractors and field teams Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and scheduling Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with Procore and other construction management software OSHA 30 Certification required What's on Offer Competitive base salary: $170,000
