Looking to sell large-tonnage steel erection? An AISC-certified Michigan steel erector needs a permanent full-time Business Development Manager focused on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons , earning $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives with regular Midwest travel. Your focus Spend time on the road across the Midwest meeting clients and advancing pursuits Keep tabs on bid schedules, competitors, and upcoming Midwest projects Drive strategy on large structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons Serve as the face of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and at industry functions Open doors with general contractors and owners for new steel erection work You bring Background selling or developing business in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners are a plus Comfort pursuing and landing Midwest projects of significant tonnage Strong communication skills and a habit of closing the pipeline Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest
