Job Description

Construction Project Manager Intern/ Housing Included Position Summary The Construction Project Manager Intern supports project managers and construction teams in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects from start to completion. This position provides hands-on experience with project scheduling, cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, documentation, safety, and quality control. Key Responsibilities Assist project managers with day-to-day coordination of construction projects. Review project plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts. Assist with project schedules, progress tracking, and updates. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and field personnel. Attend and participate in project meetings and prepare meeting notes. Help track project costs, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders. Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and daily reports. Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety requirements. Assist with material and equipment coordination and delivery schedules. Identify potential project issues and communicate them to the project management team. Support closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, and documentation. Follow company safety policies and applicable construction regulations. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic understanding of construction methods, plans, and scheduling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to read and understand construction drawings is a plus. Familiarity with construction software such as Procoreis a plus. Ability to work both independently and as part of a construction team. Willingness to spend time both in the office and on active job sites.
