Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager Assistant specializing in construction to support our project management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of construction management software, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using project management software. Support project managers in tracking progress, updating schedules, and analyzing project data. Coordinate between various teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow. Help prepare and review construction estimates, budgets, and cost control reports. Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays or issues, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track. Assist with contract administration by reviewing agreements, change orders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Contribute to construction site visits by documenting progress, safety compliance, and quality standards. Administer standard operating procedures that ensure a smooth project implementation, reinforcing these procedures with field teams and subcontractors. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction estimating, or PMP certification, or a combination of education and experience. Experience with construction site operations, including safety protocols and quality assurance procedures. Excellent analysis skills for data interpretation and problem-solving related to project timelines and budgets. Familiarity with contracts, procurement processes, and legal considerations in construction projects. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Technical proficiency in Excel data analysis and reporting tools; experience with Bluebeam or ProCore is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications Project management experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in construction scheduling tools and project management software. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost management practices. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
