Summary As a working Roadway Foreman at our civil construction company, you will oversee project execution and ensure that all operations align with our high standards of quality and safety. This role is pivotal in managing resources, schedules, and communication among teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Roadway Construction Foreman Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion as far as field work. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met. Maintain project schedule and quality control goals Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Ensuring effective cost control measures are in place. Conduct weekly site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to specifications. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. This position is a working one on the job daily running a crew and subs Field working position to begin longer term superintendent role needed. Need candidate who wants to run large scale civil projects Roadway Construction Foreman Qualifications Proven experience as a roadway foreman in concrete, asphalt, civil Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Experience with following budgeting practices is required as daily job cost is monitored and shared w team Run revenue versus expense daily for both preview and review purposes Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively. Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Experience w concrete and asphalt roadway projects for city, state, county.
