Manager Trainee - Roles & Responsibilities Acknowledgement The Manager Trainee position is an advanced field leadership development position responsible for learning and developing the skills, expectations, decision-making, accountability, and leadership qualities required to become a supervisor or field leader within Simply Demo LLC. A Manager Trainee is expected to fully understand and perform the responsibilities associated with the Tech 1 and Tech 2 positions while actively developing leadership, communication, organization, planning, and jobsite management skills. This position is intended for employees transitioning from operational proficiency into leadership and management responsibilities. Manager Trainees are expected to lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, organization, communication, accountability, and safe work practices while learning how to manage crews, maintain production, uphold company standards, and support overall jobsite success. These roles and responsibilities do not take the place of the core capabilities required of all field employees. Job Duties & Responsibilities As a Manager Trainee with Simply Demo LLC, responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Understanding and performing all responsibilities associated with the Tech 1 and Tech 2 positions
Assisting supervisors and managers with daily jobsite operations, organization, workflow, and production
Learning the expectations, responsibilities, and decision-making processes required of supervisors and field leaders
Assisting in leading crews while maintaining professionalism, accountability, and productivity
Learning how to properly delegate tasks based on employee skill level, efficiency, and jobsite priorities
Assisting in monitoring jobsite timelines, production goals, and daily progress
Learning how to identify inefficiencies, workflow interruptions, damages, or safety concerns and communicate them appropriately
Understanding how to maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and production standards throughout all phases of demolition
Assisting in coordinating daily setup and breakdown procedures for tools, protection, equipment, trailers, and materials
Understanding and applying the Simply Demo step-by-step process of disassembly, including:
Protection
Plumbing and electrical preparation
Millwork removal
Wall and ceiling removal
Flooring removal
Understanding how sequencing and planning directly affect production, safety, cleanliness, timelines, and profitability
Learning how to manage crews while maintaining safety, efficiency, professionalism, and company standards
Assisting in mentoring, training, and guiding Tech 1 and Tech 2 employees
Leading by example through work ethic, communication, accountability, organization, and safe work practices
Understanding how to communicate professionally with contractors, clients, inspectors, vendors, coworkers, and management
Learning how to properly document issues, damages, delays, change conditions, and jobsite concerns
Understanding company expectations regarding client interaction, professionalism, cleanliness, and presentation
Assisting with maintaining accountability for tools, trailers, equipment, and company materials
Understanding trailer organization, debris distribution, load management, and equipment preparation
Assisting in ensuring all team members are utilizing proper PPE and following safety requirements
Understanding health and safety equipment locations and emergency procedures on each jobsite
Maintaining awareness of all active jobsite hazards and crew safety throughout the workday
Learning how to anticipate jobsite needs and prepare crews, tools, protection, and materials ahead of operations
Assisting in maintaining morale, teamwork, communication, and productivity within crews
Understanding how labor efficiency, timelines, damages, callbacks, and cleanliness affect overall company performance
Demonstrating initiative and leadership without requiring constant supervision
Arriving at work on time and prepared to lead, assist, and support daily operations
Complying with all Company policies and procedures

Pay:
$46,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
