Superintendent - Underground Utilities Carolina Conduit Systems (CCS) is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on underground conduit utility construction projects. This position is responsible for overseeing daily field activities, managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and delivering high-quality work. What You'll Do Lead and supervise field crews, foremen, operators, and laborers Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project schedules Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards Conduct safety meetings and enforce safe work practices Work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to keep projects on track Review plans, specifications, and project requirements Monitor production, quality, and project progress Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and as-built records Mentor and develop field personnel Qualifications 5+ years of experience in underground utility, electrical conduit, or related construction Previous supervisory or superintendent experience required Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods and safety standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore, Fieldwire, or similar) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Company vehicle and fuel card Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities with a rapidly expanding contractor Supportive team environment Carolina Conduit Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
