Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role is a traveling Superintendent , responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities on hospitality renovation projects. This role manages field operations, including scheduling trades, coordinating materials and equipment, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope. The Superintendent monitors quality standards, conducts site inspections, and addresses issues promptly to minimize impact on hotel operations and guest experience. This position communicates regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to report progress, resolve conflicts, and maintain clear documentation. The role also enforces safety protocols, maintains site cleanliness, and supports brand and property requirements throughout the renovation.

QualificationsExperience supervising construction or renovation projects, preferably in hospitality or commercial environments.

Strong skills in project coordination, scheduling, and on-site logistics management.

Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and quality control practices.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Proficiency in using basic construction management tools and software for reporting and documentation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with property staff, clients, and subcontractors.

Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams, resolve problems quickly, and make sound decisions under time constraints.

Commitment to safety, with familiarity in OSHA guidelines and jobsite safety best practices.

High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Ability to work on-site daily in Berlin, NJ and travel occasionally to other project locations if needed.

Previous superintendent or foreperson experience is strongly preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or construction-related education is a plus.
