DMC Facility Services is a fast-paced, family-owned company, seeking a 3rd Shift Construction Assistant to join our team and train alongside our industry expert leaders! Candidates must be interested in furthering their career within the field, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to understand and translate customer needs and wants throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

Provide support to the commercial construction team including but not limited to carpentry, floor tile repairs, FRP installation, minor plumbing and electrical, concrete, commercial door and hardware, ceiling systems, and general construction duties Ability to email and communicate via mobile device i.e. iPad Applications Ability to travel regionally overnight (hotel and meals paid by company)

Skills & Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of carpentry/construction Valid US Driver's License Safety training OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Technical proficiency i.e., ability to scan, fax, and email photos, use and navigate in mobile applications on iPad, etc. Ability to work in high pressure situations with a positive attitude
