Benefits:
401(k), medical, visions, dental and employee benefits
Summary:
Achristavest Fine Home Builders is seeking an experienced, highly organized Office-Based Project Manager to help guide exceptional custom homes from plans and specifications through construction and successful completion. This role serves as a key connection among homeowners, designers, Field Supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and our internal team. This is more than an administrative position. The right candidate will take ownership of projects, anticipate upcoming needs, identify missing information before it affects the field, and follow every detail through to completion. You should be comfortable reviewing plans, selections, estimates, contracts, invoices, and change orders while keeping client service, quality, schedule, and cost in focus. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project information, design selections, deadlines, pricing, purchasing, and documentation ahead of construction.
  • Partner with homeowners and designers to obtain complete, timely selections and communicate approved decisions to the field and trade partners.
  • Ensure Field Supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors receive current drawings, specifications, selections, scopes, and company construction details.
  • Review estimates, proposals, and contracts for completeness, scope alignment, exclusions, allowances, conflicts, and missing items.
  • Review subcontractor and vendor invoices against contracted scopes and documented project progress; identify discrepancies or unapproved charges.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate change orders, obtain supporting pricing, and coordinate approved changes through completion.
  • Maintain organized project files, selection records, spreadsheets, approvals, correspondence, and cost documentation.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding decisions, pricing, proposals, and information so unresolved items do not delay construction.
  • Help identify conflicts among plans, specifications, selections, field conditions, and Achristavest standards before they reach the field.
  • Coordinate and prepare a professional homeowner Project Progress Book with organized construction and completed-home photography. What We're Looking For
  • Highly organized, accountable, proactive, and detail oriented.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and an interest in how custom homes are built.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, selections, scopes, and estimates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, designers, Field Supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Sound judgment and the confidence to ask questions, resolve inconsistencies, and respectfully hold others accountable.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and competing responsibilities.
  • Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and project documentation systems.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing actively to a collaborative project team.
  • Commitment to quality, professionalism, continuous learning, and follow-through.
  • Previous experience in custom residential construction, project management, estimating, architecture, interior design, construction administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Why Join Achristavest At Achristavest, great homes are built by people who take ownership, think ahead, communicate clearly, and care deeply about quality.
