This is an excellent step-up opportunity for a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to take fuller ownership of project delivery, or for an established Project Manager with early-stage PM experience who wants exposure to a significant, complex project. The role will report to a Senior Project Manager and will remain actively involved from preconstruction and procurement through construction, turnover and closeout. This is an at-risk / lump-sum project, so relevant experience is essential. Key Responsibilities Support the Senior Project Manager in the day-to-day delivery of the project. Manage budgets, procurement, buyout, commitments, forecasts and cost reporting. Review drawings, specifications, scopes, RFIs, submittals, change orders and payment applications. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and field personnel. Help develop and manage project schedules, look-aheads and milestone planning. Identify cost, schedule, scope and coordination risks before they affect delivery. Lead or contribute to owner, architect, subcontractor and internal project meetings. Maintain clear project records, meeting minutes, correspondence and action logs. Work closely with the Superintendent and site team on sequencing, logistics, safety, quality and subcontractor performance. Support punch-list, commissioning, turnover documentation, warranties and final closeout. Requirements Current Assistant Project Manager ready to step up, or Project Manager with 1-3 years of direct PM experience. Proven experience on lump-sum and/or at-risk construction projects. Strong understanding of procurement, subcontract administration, cost control, change management and scheduling. Ability to review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals and change orders. Strong commercial awareness and confidence managing project financials. Able to work between project sites and the Piscataway office as required. Clear communication and strong stakeholder-management skills. The following would be beneficial, but are not essential: University, institutional, public-sector or education-project experience. Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related degree. Experience with construction-management, scheduling, document-control or accounting platforms. Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $150,000-$175,000. A company benefits package is also included, with full details confirmed during the interview process.
