Multifamily Construction Project Manager - North Jersey
Job Description
Manage large-scale ground-up multifamily construction projects. Join a growing GC with a strong pipeline of North Jersey work. About Our Client Our client is an established General Contractor specializing in multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial construction throughout New Jersey. The company offers a steady project pipeline, strong leadership, and opportunities for Project Managers to take full ownership of projects from start to finish. Job Description Manage ground-up multifamily projects from award through completion. Oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings. Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams. Review drawings and specifications for scope and constructability. Track project costs, forecasts, and payment applications. Manage subcontractor contracts and scopes of work. Monitor project schedules and resolve potential delays. Oversee punch list, turnover, and final project closeout. Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders. The Successful Applicant 5+ years of construction Project Management experience. Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred. Experience with apartments, mixed-use, residential, or similar developments. General Contractor experience preferred. Strong budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management skills. Ability to read architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings. Experience with Procore or similar construction management software. Strong communication and client-facing skills.
