Job Description

Overview Ideal for someone with construction experience, plan-reading ability / estimating support experience who wants to develop into a commercial estimator / project manager. Duties Assist in preparation of accurate project estimates by reviewing construction plans and bid documents. Create detailed project schedules utilizing Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling tools to ensure timely project delivery. Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings and project meetings when needed. Coordinate with design teams to review construction plans and schematics, ensuring clarity and feasibility for execution on site. Manage procurement processes by preparing bid packages, reviewing subcontractor proposals, and tracking costs to maintain budget integrity. Oversee construction schedule coordination by monitoring progress on-site, managing project timelines, and adjusting schedules as needed to meet project milestones. Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and safety standards by regularly reviewing contracts, permits, and regulatory documents. Facilitate communication among stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers promote seamless project coordination. Support overseeing daily operations on-site and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Familiarity with industry-standard project management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Primavera P6, or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination practices. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, and construction plans accurately for effective project execution. Understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements relevant to large-scale projects. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders involved in complex infrastructure or commercial projects.
Qualifications:
Basic ability to read architectural plans. Strong communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Strong mathematical, computer and organizational skills. This role is ideal for motivated professionals eager to advance their careers in construction management!
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
