• Project Delivery What you would do Typical responsibilities could include: Managing on-site construction activities, sequencing and work execution to maintain project schedule and budget Leading and coordinating construction crews, subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient and compliant work delivery Monitoring safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks and maintaining a compliant health and safety culture across the site Tracking and controlling project costs, managing change orders and ensuring budget adherence Maintaining regular communication with clients, engineers and project stakeholders on progress, risks and schedule impacts Preparing and maintaining construction documentation, daily reports, site records and compliance files Coordinating with quality assurance to verify workmanship and adherence to specifications Managing site logistics, materials, equipment and resources to support on-time delivery What you could bring Most roles of this type require the following: 5-10 years of construction management experience, with 5+ years in a site or field leadership role SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification or equivalent safety qualification First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment) Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software for construction planning and site documentation Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling and project controls Experience managing budgets, cost control and change order processes Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple trades and coordinate with stakeholders Authorization to work in the United States Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field is preferred What roles of this type could offer Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role: Hands-on leadership of significant construction projects with scope to influence project delivery and team performance Potential involvement in complex, high-profile construction programs where your decisions directly impact outcomes Opportunity to develop and mentor field teams, with pathways toward senior site leadership or project controls roles Competitive compensation package including health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, 401(k) matching and ongoing professional development support The flexibility to work across different project types and construction environments Exposure to modern construction techniques, safety innovations and industry best practices About Specialist Staffing Group We are a leading recruitment firm specializing in placing construction and site management professionals across the United States.
