We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and compassionate DODD/Homecare Program Manager to lead and oversee community-based care services for individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, knows how to solve problems, and isn't afraid to jump in, support their team, and keep programs running smoothly. As a Program Manager, you will oversee individuals' services, staff performance, scheduling, compliance, documentation, communication with families and community partners, and the overall quality of care being provided.

What You'll Do Oversee and coordinate DODD and homecare services for individuals with developmental disabilities and seniors. Develop, implement, monitor, and update individualized care plans based on each person's unique needs. Ensure services are being provided according to ISPs, service plans, physician orders, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals and other care staff. Build strong, dependable teams and help create a positive workplace culture. Manage employee schedules and help ensure appropriate staffing and coverage for individuals receiving services. Conduct regular home/site visits and monitor the overall quality of services being provided. Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Monitor medication administration requirements and ensure staff are properly trained and authorized when applicable. Assist with incident reporting, UI/MUI procedures, investigations, corrective actions, and other compliance matters as required. Ensure individuals' rights, dignity, safety, choices, and independence are respected at all times. Participate in ISP/service-plan meetings and collaborate with SSAs, guardians, families, healthcare professionals, case managers, and other community partners. Monitor individual progress and work with the care team to address changes in needs, behaviors, health concerns, or services. Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of employees. Provide staff education regarding individuals' rights, dementia and Alzheimer's care, developmental disabilities, medication administration, documentation, health and safety, and company expectations. Help manage program expenses, staffing resources, overtime, and operational needs. Respond professionally and quickly to staff, families, individuals, and community partners. Assist with resolving staffing concerns, behavioral situations, emergencies, and other unexpected challenges. Maintain organized records and ensure required documentation is completed within established timelines. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, compassion, communication, and exceptional care. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Services, Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Previous experience working in DODD services, developmental disabilities, home healthcare, senior care, assisted living, residential services, or long-term care strongly preferred. Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience preferred. Knowledge of Ohio DODD rules, HCBS services, individual rights, ISP implementation, documentation, and compliance is highly desirable. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach employees, hold staff accountable, and build a successful team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain professional during challenging situations. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals, guardians, families, employees, healthcare professionals, SSAs/case managers, and outside agencies. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic documentation systems, and other basic computer programs. Ability to maintain confidential information and follow HIPAA requirements. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel to individuals' homes and program locations as needed. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and other applicable employment requirements. Flexibility to assist with urgent staffing or program situations when necessary.
