A growing systems integration company is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support large-scale data center projects in the Lima market.
This is a field leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day project execution, supervising technicians and subcontractors, maintaining installation quality, and helping ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to project scope.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic security, fire alarm, building automation, or related low-voltage systems and is comfortable remaining technically involved with installation, programming, startup, testing, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily site operations for assigned data center projects Help ensure projects are completed within contractual scope, schedule, and budget Work with project leadership to develop installation plans and jobsite procedures Supervise technicians, installers, specialists, and subcontractors Plan, assign, and direct field work based on project priorities Mentor and coach field personnel while providing technical guidance Coordinate subcontractor activity and verify quality of completed work Identify potential project risks that may impact cost, schedule, scope, or customer satisfaction Communicate project issues and recommend corrective actions Maintain overall installation quality in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications Install, program, test, troubleshoot, repair, and service systems when needed Support system startup, checkout, certification, and customer training Coordinate closely with project managers, project coordinators, customers, and other trades Maintain strong communication and documentation throughout project execution Qualifications 5-7 years of relevant field experience Strong field supervision and installation experience involving one or more of the following: Electronic security systems Fire alarm and life safety systems Building automation systems Related low-voltage systems Proven experience supervising technicians, installers, and subcontractors Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of site execution Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Ability to travel regularly to local jobsites with minimal overnight travel Preferred Experience Data center or mission-critical project experience Relevant field service background Product or industry certifications Experience with platforms such as: Software House Lenel / LenelS2 Genetec Avigilon AMAG Milestone / ONSSI AXIS College degree, trade school education, or equivalent professional experience What They're Looking For A strong field leader who can take ownership of daily site execution Someone capable of supervising crews while staying technically involved A professional who can balance quality, safety, schedule, cost, and customer expectations Someone comfortable working in high-expectation data center environments A self-starter who can identify field issues early and drive solutions Top 3 Must-Haves 5-7 years of relevant security / low-voltage field experience Experience supervising technicians, installers, and subcontractors Strong hands-on installation and troubleshooting ability Top 3 Nice-to-Haves Data center / mission-critical experience Experience with Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Software House, or similar platforms Relevant manufacturer or industry certifications
Pay:
$35.20 - $51.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
