Overall responsibilities:

Work in a residential setting assisting individuals served in becoming self-sufficient, self-advocating, self-driven individuals. Oversee a specific home and ensure staff are completing their responsibilities and individuals are receiving quality services.

Detailed responsibilities:

Assist individuals to achieve and exceed their personal goals based on their individual specific plan. Provide structure and create positive peer to peer relationships. Assist individuals with personal hygiene including bathing, feeding, dressing, etc.- if needed. Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned. Promote Community Inclusion for the individuals served. Help maintains & promote a safe and clean environment for the individuals. Have the ability and drive to lead a team. Open schedule availability; Including being on call (Only for Home Manager) Should have good communication with management. Should be able to troubleshoot & direct staff when needed. Must be able to be accountable for yourself, job duties, home & staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Management or supervision experience in the field of DD field is preferred but not required. Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with consumers, guardians, staff and other team members. Must be able to work in a behavioral home Ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external team members to positively represent

Must be reliable, 18 years or older and have proof of High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License & Proof of Auto Insurance. Must be able to provide past work references. Must be able to work every other weekend. Must have open availability for emergencies. A driver abstract, and BCI check will be conducted.
