Who We're Looking For:

Responsibilities and Expectations:

The Remodeling Assistant is a vital support role to our Project Management and Carpentry teams — working hands-on at the job site to help produce marketable projects on budget, on time, and with the highest level of craftsmanship and quality, delivered in an efficient and professional manner.

• Assist the installation teams across all phases of construction, from rough carpentry (framing, sheathing, rough openings) through finished carpentry and installation (trim, doors, hardware, fixtures, finish details).
• Set up and maintain dust protection systems and site containment on the job site.
• Perform basic demolition and job site cleanup, keeping the site organized throughout each phase of construction.
• Manage the shipping and receiving of materials and deliveries, inspecting and checking in all materials for accuracy and damage.
• Organize the worksite with materials, tools, and equipment, and keep the site clean and safe.
• Communicate professionally with the client and their family on-site, as well as the full project team.
• Prepare the worksite for the next phase of construction.
• Read basic blueprints and dimensioning, and assist with layout for electrical, plumbing, lighting, and framing.
• Demonstrate skill in the safe operation of hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction documents.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, team-first attitude.
