Heavy Civil Project Manager - Water & Wastewater A well-established and growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater construction . This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional who wants to take ownership of complex infrastructure projects while working with a company that offers long-term career growth, strong project backlog, and competitive compensation. Responsibilities Manage heavy civil and water/wastewater projects from preconstruction through final completion Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and financial projections Oversee project execution to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to contract specifications Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, and field personnel Manage project buyout, procurement, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications Review plans, specifications, contracts, and construction documents Monitor project costs, labor productivity, material usage, and overall profitability Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners, engineers, municipalities, and stakeholders Identify project risks and develop solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns Work closely with the Superintendent and field team to ensure successful project execution Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular financial and schedule updates Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction Strong experience with water and wastewater projects Experience with municipal infrastructure, utilities, treatment plants, pump stations, or pipeline construction Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and change orders Strong understanding of heavy civil construction means, methods, and materials Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills Proficiency with construction management and scheduling software Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred OSHA and other applicable safety certifications are a plus Why Join?
