Type:
full-time Superintendent to lead field operations for a large-scale data center infrastructure project in Rock Hill, SC. This individual will serve as the primary onsite leader responsible for project execution, workforce management, technician scheduling, material coordination, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The initial focus of this project is the installation of conveyance systems including ladder rack, basket tray, trapezes, and pathway infrastructure. The Superintendent will play a critical role in building and leading a team that will begin with approximately 15 technicians and continue scaling throughout the duration of the project.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Lead all onsite field operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project management and field personnel
- Oversee work execution to ensure schedule adherence and project success
- Coordinate daily manpower requirements and workforce planning
- Drive accountability across all field personnel Team Management
- Supervise Lead Technicians and installation crews
- Assist in interviewing and onboarding technicians
- Mentor and develop field personnel
- Conduct daily planning meetings and workforce coordination Scheduling & Operations
- Develop and maintain technician schedules
- Coordinate project workflow and task assignments
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Identify schedule risks and implement mitigation plans Material Management
- Receive and track materials onsite
- Coordinate deliveries and inventory management
- Ensure crews have tools, equipment, and materials necessary for execution
- Monitor material shortages and communicate project impacts Safety & Compliance
- Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain OSHA compliance and site safety expectations
- Perform site safety inspections and audits
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings
- Ensure proper documentation of safety activities Quality Assurance
- Verify installations meet customer requirements and quality standards
- Conduct field inspections and quality control reviews
- Review project drawings and installation standards
- Ensure proper project documentation and reporting
