Job Description Reporting directly into the COO, the main duties and responsibilities of the Chief Estimator / Preconstruction Manager will be: Estimate from both concept designs and complete designs Completion of all aspects of project bidding including plan and specification takeoff, pricing, and client communication / follow-up Assist with the development, updating and implementation of an estimating database with assemblies Assist or lead the process of implementation of estimating program software system Maintain a cost history data base Review rewarded bids with Construction team to ensure budget accuracy and resource allocation Interact with owner-clients and General Contractors to build and maintain relationships As team grows, lead the development efforts for less experienced Estimating staff MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
