In this role, you'll provide administrative and logistical support throughout the pre-construction phase of commercial construction projects. Responsibilities include organizing project documentation, maintaining bid lists, tracking requests for information (RFIs), following up on bids and budgets, reviewing project documents, and assisting with subcontracting and purchasing activities to help ensure a smooth transition from estimating to construction.

Responsibilities include:

Support the Pre-construction Manager with day-to-day administrative and logistical tasks during the pre-construction phase. Upload, organize, and maintain project documentation to ensure information is accurate and accessible. Create and maintain bid lists and coordinate information related to subcontractor bidding. Track and manage requests for information (RFIs) throughout the pre-construction process. Follow up on submitted bids and budgets to ensure timely responses and accurate information. Review project documents for compliance with project requirements and specifications. Assist with post-award subcontracting and purchasing activities to support project startup. Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and other project partners. Update and maintain the subcontractor database to ensure records are accurate and current. Coordinate and organize project information and resources to facilitate a smooth transition from pre-construction to the construction phase.

Software Experience:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Familiarity with construction estimating, bidding, and project documentation processes preferred.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred. Understanding of construction estimating, bidding processes, terminology, and practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
