About the Position We are looking for an experienced Project Development Manager with a strong background in civil construction, site development, estimating, or project management to help grow our company. This is a technical sales and project development position, not a traditional sales job. We need someone who understands how construction projects actually work and can confidently communicate with general contractors, developers, engineers, property owners, and other industry professionals. The ideal candidate can walk into a meeting, look at a set of plans, understand the scope of work, ask the right questions, and speak the same language as the people sitting across the table. What You'll Do Develop new business and build relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and property owners. Identify and pursue civil construction and site development opportunities. Read and interpret plats, site plans, civil plans, grading plans, drainage plans, building plans, and construction documents. Visit project sites and evaluate existing conditions. Understand grading, drainage, excavation, earthwork, site preparation, and other civil construction requirements. Develop scopes of work, estimates, proposals, and project pricing. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and customer meetings. Work with operations and field crews to develop practical and accurate project plans. Identify potential issues and opportunities before work begins. Maintain relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts. Follow projects from initial opportunity through estimating, proposal, award, and handoff to operations. Represent the company professionally during customer and project meetings. What We're Looking For The most important thing is that you know civil construction. We are looking for someone who: Has experience in civil construction, site development, estimating, project management, or a related field. Can confidently read and understand construction plans and drawings. Understands grading and drainage concepts. Can interpret plats, site plans, and civil construction documents. Understands construction equipment, materials, means, and methods. Can develop or understand project estimates and quantities. Is comfortable speaking with engineers, contractors, developers, and business owners. Is confident leading conversations and meetings. Can identify problems and develop practical solutions. Is organized and capable of managing multiple projects and opportunities. Has strong communication and negotiation skills. Is comfortable visiting job sites and working in both office and field environments.

A Great Fit Would Be Someone With Experience As:

Civil Project Manager Construction Project Manager Civil Estimator Site Development Manager Construction Superintendent Project Engineer Civil Construction Sales Business Development Manager Site Development Estimator Heavy Civil Construction Professional Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction software is a plus. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based incentives/commission opportunities. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
