The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing construction contracts, project schedules, field resources, project documentation, and the project coordinator team. This position requires a highly organized leader who can effectively communicate with executive leadership, General Contractors, project teams, and field installation personnel while ensuring projects remain aligned with schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage as a sub-contractor the portion of construction projects relevant to the contract from planning and pre-construction through installation, closeout, and completion. Review, interpret, and manage construction contracts , identifying key obligations, deliverables, schedule requirements, risks, and potential changes. Oversee the Project Coordinator team to ensure they receive, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules , ensuring milestones and critical activities remain on track. Develop and manage long-term field installation schedules to support resource planning, manpower requirements, and project sequencing. Assist in coordinating construction field installation teams across multiple projects and ensure resources are appropriately planned and allocated. Review and understand architectural, engineering, shop, fabrication, and construction drawings to support project planning and execution. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve project issues and maintain project progress. Monitor project performance and provide regular updates regarding schedule, resources, risks, progress, and overall project status. Prepare, review, and present project reports and executive-level reporting , translating project information into clear and actionable updates for senior leadership. Manage and supervise a team of Project Coordinators , providing direction, support, accountability, and professional development. Establish consistent project management processes, documentation standards, reporting procedures, and communication practices. Identify potential schedule, resource, contractual, and execution issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Participate in project meetings and provide leadership in resolving project coordination and execution challenges. Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure required information is communicated to the appropriate stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve project execution, resource utilization, scheduling, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 5-10 years of construction project management experience (preferred at the General Contractor level). Demonstrated experience with construction contract review and administration . Strong experience developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules . Proven experience with long-term construction field installation team scheduling and resource planning . Ability to read, interpret, and understand architectural and shop drawings . Experience preparing, reviewing, and presenting executive-level project reports and project performance information . Previous experience supervising and managing Project Coordinators or similar project support staff . Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, field operations, and project coordination. Proficiency with common project management, scheduling, and reporting software. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field -OR- equivalent experience. Experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects. Experience working directly with executive leadership and senior-level stakeholders. Experience with construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable platforms as well as an ERP/MRP system.
