About the Opportunity A well-established, regional general contractor specializing in hospitality, student housing and multifamily construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a landmark ground-up hotel project in Moab, UT. This can also be a Traveling role if the candidate is out of town. Position Overview The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for the overall day-to-day field management of a large-scale student housing project. Reporting to the Project Manager and senior leadership, the Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety compliance, and quality control from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Manage all daily field operations for a hotel brand project Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel Maintain and enforce the project schedule, proactively identifying and resolving delays Ensure all work is performed in compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes Uphold strict jobsite safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policy Conduct regular inspections and quality control walkthroughs Maintain accurate daily logs, RFI tracking, and field documentation Collaborate closely with the Project Manager on budgets, change orders, and owner communications Represent the company professionally with owners, architects, and local officials Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in multifamily construction is required — candidates without multifamily experience will not be considered Prior experience on student housing projects strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, ground-up construction projects from start to finish Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling (Procore, MS Project, or similar), and subcontractor management OSHA 30 certification required (or ability to obtain) Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Must be willing and able to travel and relocate to the Lexington, KY project site for the duration of the project Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $150,000, commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus program Traveling per diem provided Monthly vehicle allowance Monthly cell phone allowance Company-sponsored benefits package

$130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
