CONSTRUCTION CLEANING SUPERVISOR II
The Askew Group, LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning teams on commercial construction projects throughout Hampton Roads, Williamsburg, Richmond, and portions of North Carolina. This is a working supervisor position. The person selected must be prepared to plan the work, direct the crew, inspect quality, solve problems, complete required reports—and work alongside the team when necessary to meet project standards and deadlines. We are looking for a dependable leader who understands that successful supervision requires accountability, communication, organization, and follow-through.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay:
$20 TO $24 per hour, based on verified experience and demonstrated skills Full-time or project-based schedule depending on workload Weekly pay Day, evening, and occasional weekend availability may be required Start and finish times vary according to construction schedules Local and regional travel is required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Review project scopes, drawings, schedules, and cleaning requirements Conduct jobsite assessments and help develop an efficient work plan Organize crews, assignments, equipment, materials, and daily priorities Lead assessment, final, and touch-up cleaning on commercial construction projects Communicate daily expectations and production goals to the team Monitor work against the company's budgeted labor hours Inspect completed work before presenting areas to the customer Identify deficiencies and ensure corrections are completed promptly Train employees in The Askew Way, company cleaning procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards Enforce attendance, conduct, timekeeping, safety, and jobsite requirements consistently Verify that employees clock in, clock out, and record breaks correctly Submit accurate daily reports, labor information, progress updates, photographs, and other required documentation on time Report staffing problems, delays, damage, safety concerns, and scope changes promptly Protect customer property, completed finishes, company equipment, and materials Coordinate professionally with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, customers, and Askew Group leadership Perform cleaning work alongside the crew when necessary

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience supervising cleaning, construction, facilities, restoration, hospitality, or another labor-intensive service team Experience assigning work and inspecting completed work Ability to read and follow scopes of work, checklists, schedules, and written instructions Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping, photographs, email, text communication, and daily reporting Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to jobsites throughout the company's service area Ability to pass applicable background checks and customer badging requirements Ability to work a flexible construction schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform physical cleaning duties for extended periods Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies safely
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Commercial post-construction or final-cleaning experience Experience managing multiple crews or work areas Knowledge of windows, floors, fixtures, cabinetry, restrooms, detailed dust removal, and final-clean inspection standards OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification CPR/First Aid certification Floor-care, lift, ladder, or equipment-training experience
