2935862327-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of new and remodeled retail facilities. In this role, you will manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, overseeing contractors, architects, and vendors to deliver safe, high-quality sites on time and on budget. You will review drawings, coordinate permitting, track costs and schedules, and resolve field issues quickly. Partnering closely with operations teams, you'll ensure each facility meets Amazon's standards for safety, customer experience, and scalability while driving continuous improvement using data and metrics. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end construction of new and remodeled Amazon retail facilities within scope, budget, and schedule Coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery Conduct site assessments, review drawings, and approve construction plans and specifications Monitor field progress, manage change orders, and resolve issues impacting safety, quality, or timeline Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and Amazon operational requirements Track budgets, forecasts, and costs; provide regular status and variance reports to leadership Implement and enforce site safety plans and conduct regular inspections Use data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in construction quality and speed Partner with operations and retail teams to ensure facilities are ready for launch and customer use Prepare project closeout documentation, punch lists, and lessons-learned summaries Required Skills Construction project management Budgeting and cost control Scheduling (CPM tools such as MS Project or Primavera) Contractor and vendor management Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications Knowledge of building codes and permitting Site safety management Risk management and issue resolution Data and metrics reporting (Excel or similar) Retail or warehouse facility construction
