CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION PROJECT MANAGER
with 5+ years of professional architectural experience with a focus on Construction Administration OR experience as a Project Engineer working for a large project general contractor. Competent in project construction administration, consultant coordination, technical documentation, coordination of building systems, and confirmation of conformance with all applicable codes to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for driving project success in a fast-paced environment. A "can-do" approach, energy, and the willingness to learn are a must on our team.. Responsibilities Respond to contractor requests for information. Review project material submittals. Prepare architect's supplemental instructions to consolidate design direction to client and contractor. Work with our team to refine construction details, research materials & systems, participate in product & code research, and incorporate regulatory requirements into technical documents. Coordinate completely with all members of project design team. Attend and participate in construction administration weekly team meetings with contractor and owner. Skills and Competencies Understanding and core competency in Bluebeam. Familiarity with construction materials, methods, standards and codes, including Washington State IBC codes. Understanding and core competency in project construction management software like and similar to Procore. Construction documentation experience is preferred Base understanding of Revit (including modeling and documentation) and AutoCAD Ability to effectively meet deadlines, Strong organizational skills Work independently or with a design team to respond to project needs on sometimes aggressive schedules Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to work within a team Blue offers a competitive salary and benefits package, a relaxing and friendly work environment, and an opportunity to gain experience on a wide range of project types and scales.
