$80,000-85,000 per year About Amcon Pool & Spa Amcon Pool & Spa is a growing custom pool construction, remodeling, and service company serving Western Washington. We specialize in high-end in-ground concrete pools and spas, fiberglass pools, remodels, and related outdoor construction. We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who can take ownership of multiple active jobsites and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a field leadership position for someone who understands construction sequencing, can coordinate crews and subcontractors, recognizes problems before they become delays, and takes pride in delivering quality work on customers' properties. This position reports to our Monroe shop each morning and then travels independently between active jobsites, primarily throughout Snohomish and King Counties. Pool construction experience is valuable, but it is not required for the right construction professional. What You'll Do Oversee multiple active pool construction and remodeling projects Coordinate Amcon crews, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and jobsite access Read and understand construction plans, engineering details, specifications, and project scopes Plan upcoming work and ensure each jobsite is ready for the next phase or trade Confirm materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors are lined up before work begins Monitor construction quality and verify work is completed according to plans and Amcon standards Identify field conflicts, missing information, and potential schedule delays early Coordinate excavation, forming, steel/rebar, plumbing, shotcrete, equipment, coping and tile, plaster, and related trades Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites Protect customer property and completed work throughout construction Document job progress, field conditions, changes, and issues clearly Communicate regularly with Operations and Project Management Provide field leadership and reinforce expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and accountability Prepare projects for inspections and upcoming construction phases Assist with punch lists, project completion, and closeout What We're Looking For We are looking for a strong construction superintendent, not necessarily someone who already knows every aspect of swimming pool construction. Strong candidates may come from custom residential construction, concrete construction, excavation/sitework, landscape construction, outdoor living, civil/site construction, or another hands-on construction environment involving multiple trades.
Qualifications include:
5+ years of construction experience with demonstrated field leadership preferred Experience managing multiple jobsites, crews, subcontractors, or trades Strong understanding of construction sequencing and jobsite readiness Ability to read plans, details, specifications, and construction documents Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to anticipate labor, materials, equipment, access, and scheduling needs High standards for workmanship, safety, and property protection Ability to identify problems early and take ownership of getting them resolved Clear, professional communication with crews, subcontractors, customers, inspectors, and office staff Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to report to our Monroe shop each workday and travel independently between multiple active jobsites throughout Snohomish and King Counties Experience with concrete, plumbing, excavation, forming, steel/rebar, hardscape, equipment installation, or high-end residential construction is especially relevant. What Success Looks Like at Amcon We're looking for someone who: Shows up prepared and follows through Communicates problems and potential delays early Maintains high standards for quality and minimizes rework Protects people, equipment, jobsites, and customer property Thinks ahead and anticipates what a project will need next Solves problems and works independently Keeps clear records and communicates effectively with the team Takes ownership of field readiness, schedule, quality, and project progress Compensation & Benefits Amcon offers a growing benefits package for full-time employees, including: 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays Company vehicle and fuel provided as applicable to the position Medical benefits planned for 2027 Why Amcon? Amcon Pool & Spa is a growing company with a strong focus on quality work and professional service. Our projects are detailed, challenging, and built to a high standard. We're looking for experienced people who want to be part of a team where reliability, craftsmanship, communication, and good judgment matter. As we continue to grow, there will be opportunities for strong employees to take on greater responsibility within the company. www.amconpoolspa.com
