Our client in the Spokane Area is currently hiring for a Geotechnical Construction Manager . This position will oversee specialty geotechnical construction projects, serving as the connection between engineering design and field execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong geotechnical construction knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage crews, project budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring safe and successful project delivery. $85,000
$150,000 annually (Depending on years of experience, project experience, certifications, leadership experience, and technical expertise) Location

Standard Monday
Friday (40+ hours per week based on project demands) Responsibilities
Manage and oversee specialty geotechnical construction projects from planning through execution.
Prepare project estimates, manage budgets, schedules, and manpower allocation.
Lead and provide technical direction to field crews, drillers, operators, and technicians.
Visit active job sites to monitor progress, address project challenges, and support field operations.
Coordinate with engineers and clients to ensure projects are completed according to design specifications.
Support construction activities involving deep foundations, earth retention systems, ground improvement, grouting, foundation support, ground stabilization, and subsurface remediation.
Maintain quality control standards, project documentation, equipment utilization records, and daily operational logs.
Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
Identify project risks and resolve site issues to maintain schedule and profitability. Qualification Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of progressive construction management experience focused on geotechnical construction.
Direct field experience with geotechnical construction methods and operations.
Experience supervising field personnel including drillers, equipment operators, and technicians.
Experience with construction estimating, scheduling, manpower planning, and project coordination.
Strong understanding of heavy drilling equipment, geotechnical reports, subsurface conditions, and construction drawings.
Experience coordinating specialty systems including micropiles, helical piles, soil nails, tiebacks, shoring systems, and grouting applications.
Ability to work in both office and field environments and travel to project sites as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
PE, EIT, OSHA
30, HAZWOPER, PMP, or related certifications preferred. Disqualifiers
No experience managing geotechnical or specialty foundation construction projects.
No field leadership experience supervising construction crews.
Limited exposure to estimating, scheduling, and project management responsibilities.
Lack of experience with geotechnical construction methods such as deep foundations, shoring, ground improvement, or grouting. Employee Value Proposition

$150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
