This role will serve as the primary point of coordination between customers, general contractors, field crews, suppliers, subcontractors, and company leadership. The Project Manager will be responsible for keeping projects moving, anticipating problems before they become costly, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The ideal candidate understands electrical construction and the realities of managing multiple active jobs at once . We are looking for someone who can take true ownership of projects and reduce the amount of day-to-day oversight required from company leadership. Duties & Responsibilities Take ownership of electrical projects from handoff after sale through final completion and closeout Review project scope, estimates, contracts, drawings, specifications, and schedules before work begins Develop and maintain project schedules and key milestones Coordinate field crews, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Ensure crews have the information, materials, and resources needed to complete work efficiently Serve as a primary point of contact for general contractors, builders, customers, vendors, and subcontractors Maintain consistent communication regarding schedules, project progress, changes, and potential issues Monitor project budgets, labor hours, material costs, and overall financial performance Compare actual project performance against the original estimate and budget Identify potential cost overruns or schedule delays early and develop solutions Track, document, price, submit, and follow up on change orders Ensure additional work is properly authorized and billed Coordinate purchasing and material deliveries to prevent unnecessary project delays Conduct jobsite visits as necessary to monitor progress and address field issues Work closely with electricians, foremen, estimating, accounting, and leadership Maintain accurate project documentation and records Help resolve jobsite issues, scheduling conflicts, and customer concerns Oversee project closeout, including outstanding work, documentation, final billing, and completion requirements Ensure projects meet Primo Electric's standards for quality, safety, professionalism, and profitability Manage multiple projects simultaneously without requiring constant oversight from ownership Qualifications Previous experience in electrical construction project management, construction management, or a closely related role Strong knowledge of electrical construction processes and project lifecycles Experience managing commercial and/or residential electrical projects Ability to read and understand construction drawings, electrical plans, specifications, scopes of work, and estimates Experience coordinating field crews, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and schedules Strong understanding of project budgets, job costing, labor hours, and gross margins Experience managing and documenting change orders Ability to recognize potential scheduling, scope, and financial issues before they become larger problems Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple active projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional and confident when communicating with general contractors, customers, field crews, and vendors Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Comfortable holding team members and subcontractors accountable to schedules and project expectations Experience with construction project-management software preferred Highly dependable with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through What Success Looks Like Success means projects no longer require ownership to personally oversee every detail to stay on track. Pay:

$50.00 - $72.00 per hour
