Stehr Construction LLC is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Senior Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple commercial, multifamily, and renovation projects. This senior-level position is ideal for a construction professional who takes ownership of their projects, works independently, holds subcontractors accountable, and consistently delivers quality results on schedule. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent construction knowledge, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex projects with minimal day-to-day supervision. Key Responsibilities Independently oversee field operations for multiple commercial, multifamily, tenant improvement, and renovation projects. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trade sequencing, manpower, material deliveries, and daily construction activities. Drive subcontractor performance and accountability to maintain project schedules, milestones, and quality expectations. Proactively identify and resolve field conflicts, construction errors, and coordination issues to minimize delays, rework, and unnecessary costs. Develop and maintain short-term construction schedules and coordinate with Project Managers to achieve overall project objectives. Oversee demolition, existing-condition assessments, construction phasing, and integration of new work into existing facilities. Maintain high standards for workmanship, job-site safety, OSHA compliance, and site organization. Communicate project progress, schedule risks, unforeseen conditions, and potential cost impacts to Project Management. Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, inspection records, and project updates. Mentor and support developing superintendents and other field personnel. Coordinate inspections, punch-list completion, and project closeout activities. Qualifications 10+ years of construction experience , preferably in commercial or multifamily construction. 6+ years of superintendent or equivalent field leadership experience. Proven ability to independently manage complex construction projects, including multiple concurrent projects. Experience with commercial renovations, tenant improvements, build-outs, and occupied-building construction strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, building systems, trade coordination, and construction sequencing. Demonstrated ability to hold subcontractors accountable for schedule commitments, quality, and productivity. Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to anticipate challenges, make sound decisions, and operate with minimal supervision. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Construction Management degree preferred; equivalent practical experience will be considered. Compensation:

$95,000-$115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Stehr Construction offers competitive compensation based on experience, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and the ability to independently manage complex construction projects. Compensation above the posted range may be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
