Job Description

Summary Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Vehicle Inspector to support security operations at assigned Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) locations. This position is responsible for conducting inspections of commercial vehicles, personnel, facilities, packages, and other assets entering secured areas to ensure compliance with security requirements and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a security-minded professional with strong observational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role provides an opportunity to support mission-critical security operations while helping safeguard government personnel, property, facilities, and resources. Responsibilities Conduct inspections of commercial vehicles entering secured facilities and controlled areas. Perform personnel, vehicle, building, and facility security inspections. Conduct package, parcel, and cargo inspections in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points and verify compliance with site security requirements. Identify , document, and report security concerns, unauthorized activities, and suspicious behavior. Support force protection and physical security initiatives. Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and required documentation. Communicate inspection findings and security concerns to supervisors and appropriate personnel . Interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and government personnel. Assist with security screening operations and related site security activities. Support emergency response activities when required . Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and special events as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :
( T o perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ) High School Diploma or GED required . Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum of one (1) year of experience preferred with a civilian law enforcement agency, military police organization, government security organization, or civilian security provider. Minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience preferred in physical security, vehicle inspections, force protection, or law enforcement activities. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. Ability to successfully pass required background screening requirements.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience conducting vehicle inspections or access control operations. Military, law enforcement, transportation security, or security screening experience. Experience supporting federal government security contracts. Experience working in controlled-access or high-security environments. CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of physical security and force protection principles. Ability to perform detailed inspections and identify potential security threats. Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Ability to interact professionally with visitors, contractors, employees, and government personnel. Ability to follow established procedures, policies, and operational directives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and mission success.
