Job Description
RPI Management, Inc., Housing Agent for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, is seeking a Housing Inspector to conduct
HUD NSPIRE
inspections on houses, apartments, and other residential properties throughout the Wayne County area. Conduct inspections on Section 8 properties Collect and transmit inspection data using a business-issued phone and app Safely travel between inspections
Physical Demands:
In order to perform this job, you must be able to: Walk 3-5 miles per day Bend, stoop, and climb stairs Reliably make observations in all levels of lighting Carry and utilize a cell phone
Minimum Education:
Required:
•High School diploma or GED
•Successful completion of an NSPIRE training class (training provided upon hire)
Preferred:
•Prior experience with NSPIRE, HQS, or other housing inspection types
•Background in building trades, construction, or property maintenance
Additional Requirements:
Reliable vehicle Valid driver's license
