Job Description

-This is a tripe hat postion for (QCM, SSHO, SUPER) Maintain a positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.

Drive the speed and direction of the construction project through coordination with subcontractors, vendors, project managers, and other field managers. quality control managers, and site safety and health officers. Bring the project in on time and within budget. Review the job schedule and cost breakdown to develop a mutual approach to the project with the project team. Uphold safety and health policies in accordance with the Accident Prevention Plan, EM385-1-1 and OSHA regulations. Conduct/document all safety orientations and weekly toolbox talks and prepare the end of the month safety check-list for requisition issuance. Set up the job office and equipment trailers and see that all permits, labor notices, safety rules and regulations are posted. This includes the setup of all temporary required services (Sanitary, Power, Internet, Fencing, etc.) Maintain a thorough knowledge of the contract documents, including drawings, specifications, amendments/addenda, etc. Ensure that daily housekeeping practices are performed. Keep as-built drawings up to date. Sustain daily contact with the Project Manager and other field management personnel (Superintendent, Quality Control Manage, SSHO, as applicable), seeking their assistance in the scheduling of approved materials, equipment and subcontractors. Create and maintain a three-week look-ahead document. Keep and inventory of tools and equipment. Secure the project site always and at end of each workday. Complete and post daily reports electronically. Implement the quality control system In accordance with
USACE CQCM
requirements. Be thoroughly familiar with all contract documents. Communicate and coordinate with other on-site field management personnel. Prepare job-specific Quality Control plan and maintain it, updating as required throughout the project duration Schedule, lead and document Preparatory, Initial and Follow-Up meetings for all Definable Features of Work. Actively monitor all ongoing work and immediately bring to the attention of the Project Manager, other field management personnel, and subcontractors any work not meeting contract requirements and/or quality standards. Document any non-conforming work and follow through on any corrective measures implemented to resolve. Coordinate, supervise , and document inspection and testing activities. Coordinate performance of progress inspections and final inspections to ensure adherence to Owner requirements. Maintain quality control records prepared in support of construction activities and installations. Monitor activities of subcontractors to ensure materials, installation and construction techniques comply with contract requirements. Maintain and manage submittal and RFI documentation in compliance with P&S's submittal and RFI procedures. Regularly post submittal and RFI packages and logs., and when required, maintain and manage Owner-required submittal and RFI documentation. Manage the schedule and quality of submittals from subcontractors. Review incoming submittals for completeness and compliance with the requirements of the contract documents. Manage and coordinate Red/Zone/Closeout Requirements (i.e., Commissioning, TAB, Functional Testing Activities, Punch List, Closeout Documentation (O&M's, Warranties, as-built, drawings, Owner training)). Inspect the workplace for potential hazards, identify potential hazards, assess the risk, report/documents, and correct potential hazards. Conduct investigations in response to accidents and emergencies. Ensure the company is compliant with legislative and regulatory necessities including OSHA and
EM 385-1-1
requirements. Conduct training and provide ongoing guidance with on-site staff and subcontractors to make sure they are aware of regulations and procedures. Prepare and review Accident Prevention Plans and Activity Hazard Analyses. Perform daily safety inspections and prepare associated reports. Complete daily equipment inspections. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, other P&S field management personnel, subcontractors and vendors, Owner representatives, OSHA visitors, and other agencies. Maintain thorough safety records and manage all required reporting. Complete all other duties as assigned.
