Code Enforcement Inspector (P/T) - City of Summit - Union County, NJ Part-time employment with flexible hours available for code inspector in the Department of Community Services. Duties include but not limited to inspections of residential and commercial structures/properties for compliance with regulations, investigate complaints, communicate with property owners, and follow-up/close investigations (some resulting in summonses). Candidates with at least one (1) year of experience in general inspection of buildings or properties/work requiring knowledge of ordinance interpretation, or one (1) year of law enforcement experience. Strong computer, communication, and follow-up skills a must.

Salary Range:

$25 - $33+ per hour, DoQ. A valid NJ driver's license is required.
