AG Consulting Engineering, PC (AG) a design, engineering and construction management firm headquartered in New York is looking for Electrical Inspectors with experience working with the Metro North (MNR) projects.

MNR Project Responsibilities:

To perform inspections for several MNR construction projects, general site work, maintenance and protection of traffic, drainage, earthwork, paving, concrete work, reinforcement steel placement, utility relocation work, coordination, and safety. Able to read contract documents and construction plans. Responsible for field construction efforts, construction sequencing, performance decisions. Assure that proper document control, quality assurance documentation and construction project records are maintained. Assure quality and uniformity in the records of various contracts in the overall program.

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. Minimum 3 years related experience in any of the following areas: Water systems, tunneling construction or bridge rehabilitation and new construction or waste water construction. Activity could will include new water systems upgrade, earthwork, subbase, concrete and asphalt pavement, drainage, lighting, guiderail, and striping for rehabilitation / new) inspection and maintenance and protection of traffic for day and nighttime operations. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Strong people skills. The ability to clearly and effectively present information to clients, other staff, and management. Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products. A.G. Pay:

$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
