We are seeking a detailed- oriented and self-motivating Multifamily Property Inspector to oversee the safety, compliance, and physical integrity of our growing portfolio. In this role, you will travel to various apartment complexes and multi-family residential communities across your region. You will conduct routine, preventative, and compliance-driven physical inspections. Your findings will ensure our properties meet local building codes, company standards, and federal housing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Quality Assurance:

Perform scheduled physical inspections of multi-family assets, focusing on curb appeal, common areas, structural health, leasing pathways, and vacant turn quality.

Resman Inspection Management:

Utilize Resman to complete onsite evaluations, attach high-quality photo documentation, and log real-time item conditions directly from the field.

Asset & Risk Management:

Proactively identify deferred maintenance, life- safety, hazards, and liability risks reporting them immediately to the Regional Manager.

Pre-Move In & Post Move Out Audits:

Inspect recently vacated units to audit and verify that "make ready" units meet company luxury and functionality standards before new residents move in.

Vendor & CapEx Monitoring:

Oversee and inspect the work of third-party contractors for capital improvement projects (roofing, paving, exterior painting) to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

Onsite Team Accountability:

Partner with community managers and service supervisors to review inspection trends, track the completion of corrective work orders and provide training on preventive maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years in multifamily property management, residential construction project tracking, or commercial facility inspection.

Industry Knowledge:

deep understanding of residential building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, framing) and multi-family operations.

Software Tech-Savvy Travel Requirements:

must have a valid driver's license, highly reliable vehicle, and clean driving record. Regular travel within our regional portfolio is required.

Physical requirements:

ability to walk large multi-acre properties daily, climb stairs/ladders and inspect roofs or utility rooms.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
