This field-based position serves the Akron, Canton, Cleveland and surrounding Northeast Ohio markets. This opportunity is ideal for an inspector who enjoys inspecting homes, educating clients and delivering excellent service—but wants the consistent inspection opportunities, professional resources and administrative support of an established multi-inspector company. We provide the vehicle, inspection equipment, technology, insurance, uniforms, licensing support, education and business-development resources. You can focus on performing excellent inspections and taking care of clients. Compensation options Qualified inspectors may choose between two compensation structures: Salary option: $50,000-$65,000 per year. Starting salary is based on professional inspection experience, current ancillary-service qualifications and availability to meet the position's scheduling requirements.
Commission option:
Production-based compensation tied to completed inspections and eligible ancillary services. This option has no earnings cap, allowing inspectors to increase their compensation by performing more inspections and becoming qualified in additional services. Qualifications in radon testing, WDI inspections, sewer scopes, well and septic inspections, and mold sampling may increase an inspector's earning opportunities under either compensation structure. The compensation formula, scheduling expectations and available training will be explained clearly during the interview process and agreed upon before employment begins.
