Job Description
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspectors for a project in the Midlothian, TX area!
WEEKLY PAY!
TRAVEL WORK!
PER DIEM INCLUDED!
PAY:
$40-$50/hour (based on experience)
HOURS:
8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
DURATION
Approximately 7 months
PER DIEM
$178/day worked ($110 lodging + $68 food) We are seeking experienced Electrical QA/QC Data Center Inspectors to perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical systems within a data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical QA/QC or field inspection experience, knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC requirements, and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Responsibilities:
Perform QA/QC inspections of electrical systems and installations Inspect medium- and low-voltage switchgear Inspect UPS systems, PDUs, generators, and transformers Inspect cable tray, conduit, and grounding systems Verify installations comply with project drawings and specifications Verify compliance with NEC and applicable local electrical codes Ensure work meets client standards and commissioning requirements Review and track submittals, RFIs, and as-built documentation Witness and document electrical testing activities Review insulation resistance (Megger) testing Verify torque requirements Witness pre-functional and functional testing Identify deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions Maintain detailed QA/QC reports and inspection logs Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of electrical QA/QC or field inspection experience Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and NEC requirements Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Data center or mission-critical project experience preferred Strong documentation and communication skills Experience inspecting electrical installations and systems Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, and commissioning teams Must be willing to work in an indoor data center environment NICET Electrical Certification preferred OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and climb Ability to safely navigate an active construction/data center environment Ability to perform inspections throughout the jobsite
Tools & PPE:
Standard electrician PPE and required jobsite safety equipment
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must pass a pre-employment 5-panel drug screen Must pass a pre-employment background check Must be able to work the full duration of the project
